Dr Craig Barker, Manager of the Nicholson Museum of Sydney University and its educational programs talks to Dimitrios Kametopoulos of the Greek program about his involvement in the archaeological digs he undertook on the island of Cyprus after a lecture he gave on this in the framework of the 33rd Greek Festival of Sydney 2015. He mentions the rich tapestry of the Cypriot findings and their significance during the islands historical periods. Dr Barker also mentions the importance of the findings in Macedonia region of Northern Greece and the unearthing of this cultural rich area of Hellenism. At the end, he refers to a possibility of cooperation between his Museum and those in Greece and Cyprus as well as what is planned for the future at a local level as part of its educational programs with a Hellenic cultural flavour!
