The Turkish authorities blame Ural for a number of attacks, including the one in May 2013 in the town of Reyhanli in Turkey’s Southern Hatay province that left more than 50 people dead and more than 140 injured.

"All the world’s military strategists know that stopping a person who wants to die by suicide attack is a very difficult task," Ural tells SBS.
He stated that the recent bomb attacks in Syria’s western areas haven’t affected the people at all, as it was alleged, who escaped from the war and took shelter in Syria’s reasonably safe areas.
"They use medieval-minded people who have been promised paradise," says Ural.
"'This world is mortal. Kill. If the people you kill are innocent, they will go to paradise anyway. If you kill tyrants, that’s why you kill', they say. It’s an operation of perceptions."
On what the Syrian Government thinks about the Kurds and the reports of Syria bombing Kurdish suburbs in Aleppo.
"The Syrian regime always says that Syria is more powerful if aligned with the Kurds," says Ural. "Syria can be victorious against terror with the Kurds."
"And the Syrian regime supported the Kurdish heroes financially and militarily during the Kobane resistance and there are documents about that."
Ural was reportedly in close contact with Abdullah Öcalan who is now jailed in Turkey as a leader of the PKK (the Kurdistan Workers' Party).
"There has been no wrongdoing against patriotic Kurds, not even one bit," Ural alleges. "The government works with Kurdish leaders all the time."
"The targeted areas are areas controlled by the Free Syrian Army terror groups and DAESH terror groups. And there are some Kurds among them."
Mihraç Ural also claims that Syria and Russia have good relations, as they always have, and that both parties are helping each other.
