After successful festivals in Canada in 2011, and the USA in 2013, the World Festival for Vietnamese Traditional Music makes its debut in Australia in August (14-16) this year.

Connecting the greater Vietnamese diaspora through music and promoting knowledge of Vietnamese traditional music to the wider community, sharing of culture, knowledge, and music, from different corners of the world are the key elements of the festival.

Trinh Nguyen spoke to Organiser Minh Truong and Arts Director Le-Tuyen Nguyen on what make this festival special.
