In an if-you-can't-beat-them-join-them episode, Top Gear takes a break from blowing up caravans and goes on holiday in one instead. The guys think it's ridiculous that there is a group of Brits who attach a lump of plastic to their tow-bar on a Friday night, then drag it across the country to a large expanse of grass and sleep in it. Why would someone subject themselves to a painfully slow journey to sleep in a plastic box? They don't like the humiliation of having to go to the loo in a bucket filled with blue water. There is, however, some amusement to be gleaned from watching James crash while trying to do three-point turns. The studio star is Brian Cox. Damage Control - Two weeks after the incident at the Mother of the Year ceremony Barb still cannot come to turns with the exposure while Bill does his best to find a person who betrayed his family. Was it Wendy - a bigoted employee of Bill's - Pam and Carl, the family's neighbours, or a relative? Bill decides to invite Pam and Carl to dinner and sack Wendy. He orders Don to tap Wendy's phone. Bill's investigation, however, pales in comparison to the inquiry facing Wanda back at Juniper Creek. Wanda's formal questioning could lead to state charges of attempted murder. Once Upon a Beginning - Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is a six part cheesy 1970s-80s-style dabble into the world of horror, set in Darkplace Hospital, where the haunted Dr Rick Dagless (Marenghi) faces a nightmarish evil which stalks the hospital and threatens to destroy the world. Aided by colleagues Dr Sanchez and Dr Asher (who vanished during the production and remains missing, presumed dead), who turns out to be psychic, and sometimes hindered by the no-nonsense boss Thornton Reid (played by Garth's publisher Dean Learner), Marenghi juggles the punishing hours of medical work with his clandestine battle against the dark forces.
