The My Lai massacre of 1968 helped to galvanise American public opinion against the Vietnam War. David Brill is in My Lai, speaking to a survivor of that terrible atrocity in which hundreds of unarmed civilians were killed by a US army unit. As part of his continued healing process the survivor, Cong Pham Thanh, agreed to star in a new feature film about the massacre, directed by Vietnamese director Le Dan, whom David also speaks to.
