As the world enters a new phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, the long-term effects of the global health crisis are still being felt by those working on the frontline. A recent study in Australia found that 70 per cent of nurses are feeling burnt out - stoking fears of a mass exodus from the profession. In the U.S, the situation is even worse with up to half a million healthcare workers leaving their jobs since February 2020.
