Ken Shipp, Head of Sport at SBS said: “Lucy is a rare find, combining a natural talent for media with a real passion and knowledge of football having grown up with the game. She is a true fan of the Hyundai A-League and can hold her own when it comes to understanding and analysing football. Lucy has a fun, vibrant on-air presence which I know our viewers will love.”

Lucy Zelic said: “To be joining SBS where I get to talk football every day is my absolute dream role. SBS’s football credentials are unrivaled and it is a privilege to be working alongside some of the best and most respected football minds in the country. Having the Hyundai A-League on free-to-air TV is huge and I am counting down the days until the season begins.”

SBS’s LIVE coverage of the Hyundai A-League begins on Friday 11 October when Sydney FC host the Newcastle Jets from 7:00pm AEST on SBS 2.
