Statement regarding SBS Board member Nyunggai Warren Mundine AO

SBS Board member Nyunggai Warren Mundine AO has advised that he is stepping down as a member of the SBS Board. Mr Mundine is a businessman, company director and advisor to governments and businesses who has been on the SBS Board since October 2020.

“Warren Mundine has been a valued member of the SBS Board. We understand the reasons for his decision, in that he has significant other business and personal commitments, and on behalf of the SBS Board and the organisation I thank him for his service,” said George Savvides, SBS Chair.

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications and the Arts, who has responsibility for all SBS Board appointments, is currently advertising for positions on the SBS Board.
