SBS Modern Slavery Statement
SBS is subject to the Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act 2018.
The Act applies to Commonwealth government organisations, including SBS, and private sector entities with an annual consolidated revenue over $100 million who carry on business in Australia.
The purpose of the Act is to reduce occurrences of, and improve awareness of, modern slavery in Australian business. It requires entities to report annually to Government on the risks of modern slavery in their operations and supply chains, (including the supply chains of their suppliers) and the actions they are taking to address those risks. By understanding and assessing any risks in their operations and supply chains and responding to those risks, Australian businesses can help combat modern slavery.
