SBS We Go There Brand Campaign Media Release and HERE

From today, SBS On Demand is turning up the volume on fearless storytelling with the launch of the We Go There Hub – a curated collection embodying the bold spirit of SBS’s latest brand campaign.

This new hub is a deep dive into the content that sets SBS apart – programs which challenge, provoke, and entertain, alongside the exclusive, full-length, M-rated version of the We Go There film, available only on SBS.

The We Go There campaign spirit leans into SBS’s long-standing reputation as the home of daring, unexpected programming, cheekily nodding to its “Sex Before Soccer” nickname while showcasing the network’s commitment to boundary-pushing storytelling.

From award-winning dramas and investigative documentaries to fearless news reporting, fierce sporting moments and the vital, authentic voices of NITV, the We Go There Hub celebrates SBS’s unflinching dedication to reflecting the world as it really is.

We Go There:
SBS’s Bold New Campaign Explained

The SBS Streaker Ad: What’s behind the controversial nude commercial?

As SBS celebrates its 50th birthday in 2025, the public broadcaster has launched a new campaign highlighting its distinctive position in Australian media.  The tagline of the campaign, “We Go There”, recognises the broadcaster’s history of taking risks, breaking boundaries, and boldly treading where others won’t.

The nudity in the campaign is a device to take the viewer through the broad and diverse nature of our content. SBS has always been synonymous with football and streaking has always been a part of that. The campaign is designed to differentiate us and make SBS top of mind.

Where to watch the SBS nude ad in full (uncensored)?

The full 60” M-rated spotcan be watched on SBS On Demand at the We Go There Hub.

Why SBS is showing full-frontal nudity in its latest campaign.

It is a tool or device to take audiences through the broad and diverse nature of our content. SBS has always been synonymous with football and streaking has always been a part of that. The campaign is designed to differentiate us and make SBS top of mind.

The creative that is deliberately meant to be intriguing, encouraging audiences to pause, lean in, and learn more about SBS.

Who Is the naked man/actor in the SBS streaker ad? He was cast because he felt just right for the role — someone relatable, charming, and authentic. We wanted someone audiences would connect with. Out of respect for his privacy, we’re not sharing personal details — after all, he’s already shared quite a lot.
