Caden Pearson

Caden Pearson is a Bagarrmuguwarra writer, director, and producer from Far North Queensland, with more than a decade of experience spanning production and broadcast settings. He has worked across scripted, documentary, and factual storytelling; contributing to scripted writers' rooms, leading the development of original scripted projects, and working as a writer, director, and producer across his own slate and others'. His credits include the scripted mystery web series Lakefield, the SBS Food series Taste of the Tropics, the NITV documentary Wawu: Divine Hope, and his first produced scripted feature, Storm Bird. A passionate advocate for authentic First Nations voices on screen, Caden champions Indigenous storytelling in genres where it remains under-represented and is committed to developing and elevating emerging First Nations writers, directors, and producers.
