Dena Curtis

Dena Curtis is a Warlpiri, Warrumungu, and Arrernte woman from Central Australia and the Head of Indigenous Commissions and Production at NITV. Joining the network in 2024, she oversees NITV’s original content slate across internal productions and external commissions. A producer and director with acclaimed credits including Grace Beside Me, Firebite, Ella, Rebels with a Cause and the award-winning First Weapons, Curtis is a champion for authentic First Nations voices on screen. She leads key commissioning initiatives, supports emerging Indigenous creatives and drives innovative partnerships across the industry, positioning NITV as Australia’s home of First Nations Storytelling.
