Peter Doukas OAM has made significant contributions to the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW (ECCNSW) since 2013, currently serving as its Chair.
His journey with ECCNSW began with two terms as secretary, a period marked by the organization's most substantial constitutional reform since its inception.
Peter's dedication to the Greek community extends beyond a decade, highlighted by his role on the Board of the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW. His passion for fostering a diverse and inclusive society is evident in his professional life as well, where he leads as the Managing Partner of the Sydney-based law firm Denison Toyer, operating mainly in commercial, administrative and estates law.
He has worked in corporate governance since 2006 and has provided extensive advice to associations, and NGOs around compliance and governance. He is currently the Chair of Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia (FECCA), he also serves on various other non-profit boards advocating for the success of multiculturalism in Australia.
