Reporting on ATSI issues in the media

This was published more than 5 years ago. There may be outdated information.

Media Diversity Australia published a handbook for media to report on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and issues, which also includes a contact list of organisations.

This list can also be used for education and schools to contact for information to help with planning, information-sharing or partnering with school-related activities, particularly around NAIDOC Week. We have listed this as a credible source in our NAIDOC Week 2020 Teacher Resource.

Click here to view the contact list (PDF).

It is by no means a definitive list, and is there to help you start your connections with groups and individuals across all Australian States and Territories.
