Celebrate Diwali

This resource provides teachers and students with the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the South Asian cultural celebration Diwali/Deepavali. It includes:

• A video step-by-step guide to making your own kolam/rangoli (available in 8 languages, including: Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam, Bangla, Nepali and English);

• A step-by-step guide to create your own diya (pronounced dee-aa);
• An adapted sweet dessert recipe appropriate for the classroom; and
