First Gear is a teacher resource for building healthy lifestyles and choices for your students, through activities inspired by the Tour de France. This resource includes:

  • Practical activities;
  • Cycling tips and information;
  • Exploration of the Tour de France cycling competition;
  • Case studies and profiles;
  • Links between cycling, modes of transport and sustainability.

The First Gear classroom resource was created in partnership with ŠKODA, produced independently by SBS Learn. All information was correct at time of original publication (2019).
