This SBS Learn teacher resource supports inclusive learning about Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, a sacred time observed each year by most of the world’s nearly two billion Muslims. It supports learners to develop empathy by reflecting on key values such as generosity, faith, family, and community.
It includes:
- Introduction to Ramadan and Eid key concepts: fasting, prayer, charity and the lunar calendar.
- Easy-to-use resources such as worksheets, case studies and printable infographics.
- Differentiated worksheets for primary and secondary students on topics like customs, beliefs and values, and moon phases.
