The Specialized S-Works Venge: The fastest bike in the world?

The Specialized S-Works Venge ViAS is a technologically advanced road bike which will make its official racing debut under Mark Cavendish (Etixx-QuickStep) and Peter Sagan (Tinkoff-Saxo) at this year’s Tour de France.

Speciaized claims the S-Works Venge ViAS aero road bike saves two minutes over 40km, and when combined with three newly developed products, a skinsuit, helmet and shoes, five minutes over that distance.

It features internal cable routing, frame and fork integrated brakes, and a 15mm curved rise handlebar to offest a negative-rise stem.

The bike with a full Dura Ace Di2 groupset, Specialized's Roval CLX 64 wheelset and cotton-casing S-Works Turbo tires, would retail for approximately $16,000.
