Hot Docs funding submissions now open

Toronto’s Hot Docs has announced submissions are now being accepted for the 2013 edition of their annual festival, with guidelines and FAQs available here.

The early-bird deadline is December 7, 2012, whilst the drop-dead submission date is January 11, 2013. The Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, North America’s largest, will run April 25-May 5, 2013, at their new Bloor Cinema in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood.

Additionally, they’ve announced a September 19 opening date for the second round of funding from the Shaw Media-Hot Docs Funds. The deadline for submission is October 17, with updated guidelines and required documents lists for the Completion and Development Funds now available here.
