Full disclosure - sometimes I take a 'one, two, miss-a-few' approach to the cavalcade of movies in the 'Marvel Universe'. I've seen all the Iron Man movies, one of the Captain Americas, saw Avengers Assemble, but tapped out of those couple of Thors - plus that TV series. (Oh, and that other TV series, too.) Point is, I'm a bit little rusty about some of the finer points of the inter-connected backstories.
Clearly, I'm not the only one because the good people at Vulture have come to the rescue like some plucky band of superheroes, to put together a brief primer that encapsulates all of the 14 franchise elements.
Watch it in the knowledge that you can bowl up to Avengers: Age of Ultron, with the cocky swagger of a Tony Stark, rather than sit there, stewing, like some big cranky, confused, Hulk.
Or don't and just wait for the eight-minute recap in a couple of years' time.
