Feri (Isa) wore a bomb vest into Paddy's Irish Pub and was killed on detonation. Arnasan (Iqbal) drove the van to the Sari club where he triggered the bomb.
CAPTURED/JAILED
Heru Kuncoro
Kuncoro is the brother-in-law of Dulmatin, one of the Bali bombing masterminds. Kuncoro allegedly took Dulmatin to buy electronic devices for the bomb and helped plan the attack. It's believed he fled to the Philippines in 2003. After almost a decade on the run, Indonesian police say Kuncoro was arrested in a raid in Pekalongan in Central Java on Thursday June 9th, 2011. Fifteen other people were also arrested during the raid.
Umar Patek
Captured in January 2011 in Abbottabad, Pakistan, the town where al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed in May 2011. It is believed, but not confirmed, that Patek was there to meet bin Laden. Sentenced to 20 years in June 2012.

Hambali
Believed to be Jemaah Islamiah's head of operations, or military leader. He was thought to be the main link between Jemaah Islamiah and al-Qaeda and a close ally of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, one of the September 11 masterminds. Hambali was captured in a joint operation by CIA and Thai police in Ayutthaya, Thailand on August 11th, 2003. He was held in secret locations then transferred to Guantanamo Bay detention centre in Cuba.

Aided and abetted main conspiritors, helped pack and mix chamiclas for the bombs. Is serving a life sentance in prison.
Adbul Ghgoni
Admitted to mixing and acking bombs, aslo transporting them to Bali, currently serving a life sentance.
Abu Bakar Bashir
He is considered the spiritual leader of radical Islamic group Jemaah Islamiah. In December 2010 Bashir was charged in relation to the discovery of a paramilitary camp in Aceh in 2010, which he is accused of funding. On June 15, 2011 he was found guilty of using violence, or the threat of violence, to incite terrorism and was handed a 15-year prison sentence. His lawyers say he will appeal. In 2005 Bashir was found guilty of conspiracy over the 2002 Bali bombings and sentenced to two and a half years in prison. He was released in June 2006 after being cleared of any involvement in an appeal hearing.

Ali Imron
The brother of Mukhlas and Amrozi, he cooperated with police after being caught and is serving a life sentance for helping build the bombs.
Mubarok
Currently serving a life sentance for heping transport the explosives to bali.
EXECUTED
Samudra, Muklas and Amrozi were found guilty on August 7, 2003 for their roles in the bombings and sentenced to death by firing squad.

Muklas (alias Ali Ghufron)
Muklas was in command of the Bali bombing operation and is believed to have recruited his brothers to help assemble and transport the bombs used in the Bali attack. He was executed on November 8th, 2008 after being convicted over the 2002 Bali bombing

Amrozi (brother of Muklas)

Dr Azahari bin Husin
JI's bomb expert was trained in Afghanistan and was involved win the attacks on the Marriott in 2003 and the Australian embassy in Jakarta in 2004. He was shot and killed by police in the East Java village of Batu in 2005.
Dulmatin
One of the masterminds of 2002 Bali bombings. He is believed to be responsible for setting off one of the bombs with a mobile phone. Dulmatin trained at al-Qaeda camps in Afghanistan. He has also been linked to the Abu Sayyaf militant group based in the Philippines. The US had a $US10 million reward for his capture.
He was killed by Indonesian anti-terrorism police during a raid in Jakarta on March 9th, 2010

Noordin M Top
This Malaysian citizen and Muslim extremist was Indonesia's most wanted militant. The FBI described him as an officer, recruiter, financier and bomb-maker for Jemaah Islamiah. It is believed he masterminded the 2003 Jakarta Marriott hotel bombing, the 2004 Australian embassy bombing in Jakarta, the 2005 Bali attack and assisted in the 2002 Bali bombings. He was killed in a shoot-out with Indonesian anti-terrorism police in Solo, Central Java in September 2009.

NOW FREED
Idris
Considered the project manager of the bombings he escorted the van by motorcycle to the Sari club but was never convicted owing to terrorism laws not applying at the time. He served five years for the Marriott Hotel bombing but was freed in 2009 and is living in Sumatra.
Maskur Abdul Kadir
Acted as "tour guide" and mixed chemicals but his 15 year sentance was overturned on account of terrorism laws not being able to be applied retrospectively.
