She says she would thank him if given the opportunity to speak to him.
"I started learning Korean because of him."
"We flew over to Korea a couple of times to see the concerts, he's been a big influence on me, I think."
And some travelled from all over the world to see him perform today in the studio.
Kumi Komiya flew from Japan to see Xia in Sydney.
“I've been to Seoul also to see his concert and next week he's coming back to Japan so I'm going back to Japan to see him," she says.
