Five killed, 300 wounded in Kiev clashes

According to the Ukrainska Pravda new website, four of the five people killed in Ukrainian protests had gunshot wounds.

Five activists have been killed and 300 wounded in the Ukrainian capital Kiev in a day of intense clashes with security forces, the medical centre of the protest movement says.

"As of now, five people have been killed. Around 300 were wounded today from midnight," Oleg Musiy, the co-ordinator of the medical service, told pro-opposition Hromadske radio on Wednesday.

According to the Ukrainska Pravda new website, four of the five people found dead had gunshot wounds.
