Australian actor Sullivan Stapleton has revealed it was a nasty fall from a tuktuk during a night out that has led to him being out of action for six months.
The star was filming the US television series Strike Back in Thailand in February when the studio suddenly announced shooting was postponed due to an injury the actor had suffered.
Stapleton has now revealed he fell out of a motorised tricycle - known as a tuktuk - during a night out in Bangkok.
"We'd been out and I fell off the tuktuk and my head hit the ground and it was quite serious... a lot more serious than I initially thought," he told News Corp Australia.
Despite the injury, the 36-year-old was more concerned about missing out on the launch of his new blockbuster movie 300: Rise of an Empire, which came out in Australian cinemas earlier in March.
"Missing out on the publicity tour (for 300: Rise of an Empire) was definitely disappointing, especially as the film is going so well."
