Amnesty International has condemned the trial of 29 people in Turkey over Twitter messages they sent during anti-government protests.
The defendants were arrested following the Gezi Park demonstrations held last June in the western city of Izmir.
The Turkish government claims the protests were unlawful and the messages defamed Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
But Amnesty's Andrew Gardner told Zara Zaher the charges breach freedom of speech.
