In March, adult video website Porn Hub launched a U.S-based campaign to get its advertisements into magazines and on television.
Their aim was to find a creative director who could lead the campaign and produce ‘safe-for-work’ advertisements that were “tasteful, clever, and completely safe for consumption by the public,” Pornhub director of marketing Corey Price told the Daily Dot.
“The search for a SFW creative director belies our objective of being the public’s go-to adult site, but in a tasteful fashion,” Price said.
“We believe someone with the creativity to get our message across, and evolve our brand into something that exudes class, rather than vulgarity is the right step toward achieving that goal.”
Porn Hub called on its fans and users to submit clever and tongue-in-cheek advertisements. The winner would receive a one-year contract as the company’s creative director. You can see the submissions via pornhubcampaign.tumblr.com.
