Julian Burnside selected to receive Sydney Peace Prize

Australian barrister, human rights advocate and author, Julian Burnside has been selected to receive the 2014 Sydney Peace Prize.

Julian Burnside has been selected to receive this year's Sydney Peace Prize.

In its citation the prize jury called him a brave and principled advocate for the rights of asylum seekers.
