A Japanese comic artist known as Rasenth has used his art to share his opinions on the effects of sexism.

The 25-year-old posted the drawings to his personal blog earlier this year, after American student Elliot Rodger went on a shooting spree near the campus of U.C. Santa Barbara, killing four men and two women before taking his own life.

In a series of videos and a sprawling 140-page manifesto, the 22-year-old spoke of his "war on women", blaming them for his lack of sexual and romanic experience.

“I will punish all females for the crime of depriving me of sex. They have starved me of sex for my entire youth, and gave that pleasure to other men,” he wrote.

“In doing so, they took many years of my life away.

“I cannot kill every single female on earth, but I can deliver a devastating blow that will shake all of them to the core of their wicked hearts. I will attack the very girls who represent everything I hate in the female gender: The hottest sorority of UCSB.”

Alarmed at Elliot's thinking, Rasenth prepared a comic that illustrates his opinion about how discrimination and prejudice shapes both men and women's perceptions.

"I felt so angry at the UCSB massacre ... and the sexism we’re blind to everyday so I drew about my opinions on sexism to channel my rage," Rasenth said.
