BERLIN - Nov 13 DPA - Michael Schumacher's family remains confident about his recovery from a skiing accident in December, according to a message on his homepage which was re-born Thursday on the 20th anniversary of his first Formula One world title.
"Still we receive wishes for Michael to get well soon every day, and still we are stunned by the sheer amount of sympathies. We can only always thank you for facing this fight together with him and us," the message said.
"We remain confident and hope the best for Michael. Your strength is helping us to keep supporting him," it said, adding the hashtag "#keepfightingmichael."
Schumacher underwent two operations before being placed in an induced coma, from which doctors at Grenoble University Hospital Centre in France began slowing waking him in late January.
His manager, Sabine Kehl gave no further update as to Schumacher's condition and neither did his family in their message.
But in October a doctor treating the German seven-time former world champion said he was making progress in his recovery from the head injury.
Schumacher is now continuing his recovery at his home in Switzerland.
