The Liberal National Party faces large swings against it in regional Queensland, the latest Newspoll shows.

The poll, conducted for News Corp Australia in the lead-up to next Saturday's state election, revealed a swing of up to 13 per cent in three key LNP-held seats.

Dozens of LNP seats could fall to Labor if the swings are repeated across the state.

This week's poll of voters was conducted in the electorates of Ipswich West, 40km outside Brisbane, Keppel, near Rockhampton, and Cairns in the far north.

Labor's primary vote has jumped 16 points to 47 per cent in the three seats, which were held by Labor before 2012, with the LNP's vote collapsing more than eight points to 43.5 per cent.

On a two-party preferred basis in the those seats, Labor leads the LNP 56 per cent to 44 per cent, a swing of 13 per cent.

If the support remained unchanged until election day, Ipswich West (held on a margin of 7.2 per cent) and Keppel (6.4 per cent) would almost certainly fall to Labor and Cairns (8.9 per cent) would be a tight contest, News Corp reported.
