Parramatta have plunged into an injury crisis with Anthony Watmough and Danny Wicks ruled for the rest of the NRL season.

Watmough (knee) and Wicks (shoulder) will both undergo surgery this week after going down in Friday's 28-4 loss to Canterbury.

It has also been confirmed Corey Norman will miss three weeks with a knee strain.

His injury could not come at a worse time with halfback Chris Sandow to miss the next two weeks after being suspended for a shoulder charge.

The blue and golds also have Richie Fa'aoso (shoulder), Peni Terepo (pec), Kaysa Pritchard (pec), Beau Champion (knee) and Kenny Edwards (knee) on their long-term injury list.

The Eels face North Queensland on Monday night in Townsville.
