A 16-year-old British school girl has pleaded guilty to two terrorism charges following a thwarted plot to attack police officers at Melbourne's Anzac day commemorations.
She was arrested in April with a 14-year-old boy who admitted attempting to convince an Australian teenager to carry out the attack.
The schoolgirl exchanged more than 16,000 online messages with the 14-year-old, Britain’s youngest-ever terror suspect, the week before his arrest.

While there is no evidence the girl was involved - or even aware - of the plot, anti-terror police discovered the teenagers had talked about travelling to Syria.
Along with bomb-making instructions, they found Islamic State publications and flags on her phone, along with images of guns, knives, grenades and Osama bin Laden.
She had used computers at her school to research IS executioner "Jihadi John" and extremist Michael Adebolajo, who beheaded Fusilier Lee Rigby on a London street.
The girl this week pleaded guilty to two charges under section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Supported by her mother in court, the judge ordered she speak with a psychologist.
The girl was released on bail to continue her studies.
She will be sentenced in October.
