Australian rowing's golden girl Kim Crow has been short-listed for the world female crew of the year award.
Crow blitzed the field to win the single scull at last month's world rowing championships in France, which capped an unbeaten season through the world cup regattas.
The 30-year-old is a finalist along with the world champion American women's eight, who have won 10 successive races, and the Great Britain women's pair of Heather Stanning and Helen Glover, who were also unbeaten through the year.
Crow last won the prestigious award, to be announced on November 20 in Florida, back in 2013 when she was also world champion.
She is currently out of Australia competing at the Gold Cup in Philadelphia.
Australia also has finalists in two other categories among the five on offer.
In the Para-rowing crew of the year, Gavin Bellis and Kathryn Ross, who compete in the Para Trunk and Arms mixed double sculls, have won every major race since 2013 and are the reigning world champions.
They last won the award in 2013.
They are up against another Australian in Arms and Shoulders single sculler Erik Horrie, who hasn't lost a race since finishing with silver at the 2012 Paralympic Games.
He won the world rower award last year.
Long-time administrator John Boultbee is a finalist for the distinguished services to international Rowing award.
