Adelaide finished handing out new guernsey numbers on Sunday, with exciting first-round pick Wayne Milera to don No.30 in his first AFL season with the Crows.
Milera, the 11th overall selection at the national draft, takes over the number worn most recently by delisted rookie Jack Osborn and most famously by Peter Vardy in the club's 1998 grand final win over North Melbourne.
Fellow first-round pick Tom Doedee will wear the No.39 jumper vacated by new teammate Riley Knight, who snapped up the No.3 guernsey made famous by Darren Jarman in Adelaide's back-to-back premierships.
The Crows recently handed one of their most storied numbers, the No.32 worn by Brownlow medallist Mark Ricciuto and most recently by star midfielder Patrick Dangerfield, to former Carlton forward Troy Menzel.
Ricciuto wore the number throughout his 312-game career before handing it to Dangerfield, who wore it in all bar two matches of his 154-game stint with the club that ended with his blockbuster move to Geelong.
"It'll be nice to see another young player start his journey at the club in the No.32," Ricciuto told the club's website.
"Hopefully, he can kick a few more goals in it."
Former Collingwood wingman Paul Seedsman will wear No.11 for Adelaide after switching from the Magpies where he wore No.40 in 49 games.
Dean Gore, the 19-year-old midfielder who moved from the Cats to the Crows as part of the Dangerfield trade, will wear the No.36 guernsey most famously worn by dual-premiership defender Simon Goodwin.
Former GWS Giant Curtly Hampton has taken over the No.17 guernsey vacated by Sam Kerridge, who was traded to Carlton.
Adelaide added four players at Friday's rookie draft, with former Victorian cricketer Alex Keath handed No.42, former basketballer Hugh Greenwood given No. 20, mature-age West Adelaide recruit Jonathon Beech to wear James Podsiadly's No. 1 and mature-age ruckman Paul Hunter handed the No.37 jumper.
