AusCann research deal with Murdoch Uni

AusCann and Murdoch University will conduct research into strains of cannabis suitable for medical use.

Medicinal cannabis firm AusCann, which hopes to list on the Australian share market in July, has formed a five-year research alliance with Western Australia's Murdoch University.

The two parties will research the cultivation and development of medicinal cannabis strains for the treatment of various medical conditions.

Researchers will also investigate which strains are suited to Australian growing conditions.
