Almost two thirds of voters in three coalition-held marginal seats would rather more funding for schools than company tax cuts, new polling shows.

Commissioned by the Australian Education Union, the ReachTel polls of Eden-Monaro, Lindsay and Page show 63.4 per cent believe more money for schools was of "greater benefit" than company tax cuts.

It also showed 61.6 per cent of voters supported the full six years of Gonski funding - committed to by Labor.

The poll also showed Labor leading by 55-45 on a two-party preferred basis in Liberal Peter Hendy's seat of Eden-Monaro and by 52-48 in the National-held seat of Page.

But Liberal MP Fiona Scott has the lead over Labor in Lindsay on a two-party preferred 51-49.

"This election is clearly still to be decided and Malcolm Turnbull's cuts to Gonski funding is an issue which will hurt the coalition," AEU federal president Correna Haythorpe said.

The ReachTel poll surveyed more than 2100 voters across the three seats on the evening of June 13.
