Biden: Trump's words - 'sexual assault'

US Vice President Joe Biden says Donald Trump's graphic comments about women aren't lewd but are in fact a reference to "sexual assault".

US Vice President Joe Biden says Donald Trump's comments in videotape footage amount to a reference to sexual assault.

Biden says on Twitter that Trump's words are "demeaning". He says the behaviour is an abuse of power.

"It's not lewd. It's sexual assault,' Biden said.

The reactions comes on a Twitter account, (at)JoeBiden, that's run by the Democratic National Committee. But it was signed ``Joe,'' indicating it came from the vice president himself. Biden's office confirmed the tweet came from him.
