Man's body found at Qld's Coomba Falls

A body has been found near a Queensland waterhole where a man failed to resurface after jumping from a rock.

Police believe they have found the body of a man who failed to resurface after jumping into a waterhole at Queensland's Coomba Falls, south of Kingaroy.

The body was found on Monday near where the man, who was aged in his 20s, leapt from a rock into the water on Sunday afternoon.

A report on the incident will be prepared for the coroner.
