Charges could be laid after a group of central Queensland teenagers were hospitalised after overdosing on a cocktail of prescription drugs.
Police say a paramedic was punched in the face while treating a 14-year-old boy at a house in Taranganba in the early hours of Tuesday.
Police found the group of teenagers as part of their investigation into an earlier car crash at Lammermoor, just south of Yeppoon, around 11pm on Monday.
Two men were found at the scene of the crash and tried to flee, with a 17-year-old man being taken into custody.
Drugs were found in the car and the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs, police say.

Detectives went to a house in nearby Taranganba around 2.30am on Tuesday and found a 14-year-old boy lying unconscious in the front yard, and 10other drug affected teenagers inside.
Queensland Ambulance Services Acting Chief Superintendent Warren Kettell said it was extremely lucky no one was killed when they mixed alcohol and prescription drugs.
Their ages ranged from 14 to 18 and the group was made up of boys and girls.
Nine of them were taken to hospital for treatment.
Supt Kettell said some of the teenagers were highly aggressive and irritable, adding there should be "zero tolerance" when it comes to paramedics being assaulted.
He said the incident served as a warning never to take any prescription medication unless it had been issued by a doctor.
Police say a range of assault and drug charges could be laid as they continue to investigate.
A 15-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy both received police cautions.
