Scooter rider falls into massive sinkhole in China

A scooter rider has fallen into a massive sinkhole, which appeared only seconds earlier in China.

CCTV captured from a nearby building, shows the road in Beihai City suddenly collapse into itself, moments before the unaware rider is thrown into it.

The man disappeared into the gap and other motorists raced to help him.

It’s reported the man managed to pull himself out of the hole, remarkably uninjured.

The section of road was blocked off after the incident. It’s expected to take about 20 days to be fixed.
