The surveillance video, from August 24, showed a silver van collided with a brown van at a crossroads in Shuangqiao Economic Development Zone, causing its rear door to open and two children who were sitting at the backseat to fall off the van.
"The two vans first had a head-on collision in the middle of the crossroads, then caused by inertia, the rear parts of the vans bumped into each other," said Yuan Tianchi, traffic and patrol policeman from public security sub-bureau of Shuangqiao Economic Development Zone.
"The impact of the collision forced open the rear door of the silver van, and tossed the two children."
People on board immediately got out of the vans and checked on the two children.
Luckily, the two only suffered minor bruises.
