Household spending flat in August
Australian household spending was unchanged in August, according to new data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
Spending was flat for the month after rising 1.1 per cent in July and 0.9 per cent in June. Compared with August last year, household spending was 6.8 per cent higher.
