Rob Oakeshott, former independent MP for Port Macquarie, has just announced he will contest the July 2 election in the safe NSW seat of Cowper. The current member is National Luke Hartsyker, who has held the seat since 2001, which he retained in 2013 by a massive 20 points.
So clearly Oakeshott has his work cut out for him, particularly since he’s announcing so late. He’d want to be able to hit the ground running and have all his campaign materials ready to go… right?
Except, he seems to have overlooked one thing…
The domain name roboakeshott.com appears to be a blog generously offering the public important information pertaining to the subject of erectile dysfunction. With helpful sections on food, stress, and penis pumps, it’s a policy document more comprehensive that we’re yet to see from either party leader.

Oakeshott came to prominence after the 2010 election where Gillard’s Labor government came close, but couldn’t quite finish. Oakeshott and two fellow pinch-hitters came to the rescue, bringing the election home after a solid fifteen minutes of nailing the issues.
Oakeshott has generously offered to perform the same service should the parliament again be hung, and according to this blog may well be able to perform longer, leaving the Australian people in breathless anticipation for more than his previous record of a quarter hour.
At this point Oakeshott is yet to confirm whether he owns the blog, leaving The Feed open to the possibility that this is a fundamental part of the member’s re-erection campaign.
