A survey on the cultural diversity of Australia's executives has found 41 per cent were born overseas.

 

But most of those overseas-born executives come from English-speaking countries like Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

 

The Diversity Council of Australia study is the first to look at cultural backgrounds at senior levels of the corporate sector.

 

The Council's research director, Doctor Jane O'Leary, spoke to Alice Mulheron about the findings.
