The adequacy of police services on South Australia's APY Aboriginal lands is again facing scrutiny.
Police services on South Australia's APY Aboriginal lands are again facing scrutiny, after it was revealed police took nearly 11 hours to respond to a 000 emergency call.
The incident came as local indigenous constable positions were vacant.
As Karen Ashford reports, attracting and retaining officers in remote areas remains a constant challenge and advocates say more effort needs to be made.
