The Red Cross says despite political progress being made in Yemen, the humanitarian situation in the country is deteriorating.

 

Yemen is holding a presidential referendum on the 21st of February, touted by the sole candidate as a first step towards a secured future.

 

But Red Cross spokeswoman in Sana'a, Dibeh Fakhr, told Nikki Canning, violence continues to disrupt the lives of Yemeni citizens.
