A transcontinental rail journey on the "Indian Pacific" from Sydney to Perth covers 4352 kilometres.
The train is called "Indian Pacific" after the two oceans that it travels between. The trip is lasting about 65 hours.
This program shows life on board the train for staff and passenger's, as well as showing Australian countryside. Also more detailed look at locations such as Sydney, Broken Hill, Adelaide, Port Augusta, Cook, Kalgoorlie and Perth.
