Lyndey and Blair discover Kalamata olives, local sausage and souvlaki at a Kalamata market. Later they eat chocolate covered figs at Athanasiou Patisserie. Later they visit an olive oil plant and fig factory and indulge in some tasting. Next is a walk around ancient Messine and the mythical Methoni Castle. Lyndey cooks traditional Greek fare of rooster in wine and okra at IthomeTaverna with Voula. A visit to the Venetian fortress of Methoni is followed a fierce game of backgammon between Lyndey and a local.
