SBS TVs brand new food program The Chefs Line launched on Monday night. The series explore the heritage, history and diversity that drives Australias food culture, with home cooks challenging an entire chefs line from some of the best restaurants across the country. During the second week (which is from Monday, 10 April), The Chefs Line will celebrate cuisines from parts of Africa. Four passionate home cooks from the African community in Australia will go up against four professional chefs from Adelaide restaurant Africola. One of the African home cooks is Brisbane nurse Agnes Dube. Martin Kwakwa spoke with her, asking how a nurse got into cooking on national television.
