Born in Melbourne of Abruzzese parents, Maria has been living in Rome for six years. The reason for her move, which her mom and dad are yet to digest, is clear when reading the title of her cookbook: "I Heart Rome". It is a 260-page-plus book with not just recipes, but also photographs, anecdotes, curiosities and more on the Eternal City's culinary traditions.
